The title Story suggests a personal account or testimony, a familiar idea in gospel music where artists reflect on faith, life experiences and gratitude. The song forms part of Greatman Takit’s musical expression of Christianity, presenting his work within the wider Nigerian gospel music scene.

As part of the seven-track project, the recording sits alongside songs including “Peteru (Peter),” “Energy,” “My Daddy,” “Jowo,” “Bulie” featuring Limoblaze, and “Super Lover.” The collection demonstrates Greatman Takit’s interest in presenting gospel messages through different contemporary African musical approaches.

Energy (Afropop Gospel Vol. 1) was released in 2021 under Greatman Music. The project brings together short, direct recordings built around Christian expression and modern production, helping establish a consistent musical identity across its tracklist while introducing listeners to several sides of the artist’s sound.

With its place on the project, Story contributes to Greatman Takit’s catalogue of gospel recordings and reflects his approach to music as a means of expressing faith. The song can be explored alongside his other releases for listeners interested in Nigerian gospel and Afropop-influenced Christian music.

Listeners can stream Story by Greatman Takit through authorised music platforms, including Apple Music and Amazon Music.
