FOLA – miss u ii (nriri)

Nigerian singer and songwriter FOLA, whose real name is Afolarin Odunlami, released FOLA’s miss u ii (nriri) on October 5, 2026. The single continues the story introduced by “Miss You,” a song first released in 2023, while presenting a newly recorded interpretation.

miss u ii (nriri) is associated with Afrobeats and Afro-fusion, combining melodic production with FOLA’s smooth vocal delivery. The recording focuses on feelings of longing and vulnerability, allowing the singer to communicate its emotional ideas through an intimate performance and restrained musical arrangement.

The release arrives ahead of FOLA’s second studio album, 9, scheduled for October 9, 2026. The project follows catharsis, his 2025 debut album, and includes a broader collection of songs that continues the Nigerian singer’s development across melodic Afrobeats and Afro-fusion.

In 2026, FOLA has also appeared on songs including “treat u right” with Ayra Starr, “B4 B4” with Davido and Mayorkun, and “it’s over” with Bella Shmurda and Zlatan. These releases have expanded his catalogue while strengthening his profile within Nigeria’s current music scene.

With its connection to the earlier “Miss You” and its placement near the release of 9, FOLA’s miss u ii (nriri) adds another chapter to his growing catalogue. Listeners can stream the single and download FOLA’s miss u ii (nriri) for offline listening.
