Joel Lwaga – Nikumbuke ft. Diamond Platnumz

Joel Lwaga and Nikumbuke is a 2026 gospel collaboration featuring Tanzanian singer Joel Lwaga and Bongo Flava artist Diamond Platnumz. The song was released as a single in September 2026 and brings together two performers associated with different areas of Tanzania’s music scene.

Nikumbuke, meaning “Remember Me” in Swahili, presents a prayer from someone patiently waiting for God’s intervention. Its words address the experience of seeing blessings reach others while continuing to hope for personal relief, provision, and a breakthrough through faith and perseverance.

The recording combines Joel Lwaga’s gospel-oriented vocal approach with Diamond Platnumz’s Bongo Flava delivery. Their collaboration gives Nikumbuke a distinctive crossover character, joining devotional songwriting with a familiar East African popular music style while keeping the performance focused on prayer and hope.

Released in September 2026, Joel Lwaga worked with Diamond Platnumz on Nikumbuke, a single issued through OSPO MUSIC GROUP and EMPIRE. The track is listed as gospel on major music services, with a reported running time of 4:05 for the recording.

The song was produced with contributions credited to Kaniba Creator and Allan Edward Pyuza. Nikumbuke also appears in digital music catalogs as a standalone single rather than as part of a larger album, giving the collaboration its own release identity.

The collaboration attracted attention in Tanzania after its release, bringing together listeners familiar with both artists’ musical backgrounds. Joel Lwaga approaches the performance from a gospel perspective, while Diamond Platnumz adds a contrasting vocal presence that broadens the song’s appeal.

With its prayerful presentation and emphasis on patience, Nikumbuke offers a faith-oriented listening experience built around hope during difficult periods. Listeners can stream the collaboration through major music platforms and download Nikumbuke to enjoy the song offline at their convenience.
